Bodysuit vs babydoll — what's the difference?
Both are one-and-done pieces, but they fit, layer and pack differently. Choose based on your body shape, occasion and how you plan to wear the piece.
Bodysuits & teddies
Bodysuits sit snug from shoulder to hip with snap-crotch closures on many styles. They eliminate waistband bunching under high-waist trousers or fitted kurtis.
Best for: defined silhouettes, layering under blazers, occasion dressing where a smooth line matters. Size by hip measurement — lace has minimal stretch.
Babydolls & chemises
Babydolls flare from the bust with a shorter hem — forgiving on hip and tummy areas. Chemises are slip-style, often knee or mid-thigh length.
Best for: warm Pakistani nights, honeymoon packing, gift-giving when exact bra size is unknown. S/M/L sizing is more forgiving than structured bodysuits.
How to choose
Between sizes on a bodysuit? Size up. Between sizes on a babydoll? Either size often works depending on strap adjustability.
For wedding night: bodysuits photograph sharply; babydolls pack lighter and sleep cooler in un-air-conditioned rooms.
