Lace vs cotton lingerie — which should you choose?
Fabric choice matters more in Pakistan than most markets. Humidity, load-shedding summers and air-conditioned winters all affect how a piece wears hour by hour.
When lace works best
Lace and mesh offer structure, visual detail and occasion dressing — wedding nights, anniversaries, photography. Quality eyelash lace flexes with the body; cheap polyester lace does not, and shows it under fitted kurtas.
In Karachi and coastal cities, unlined lace bralettes breathe better than heavy satin. Look for mesh panels and minimal boning for daily wear in humid months.
When cotton wins
Cotton and cotton-blend briefs and bralettes suit everyday wear, long commutes and sleep. They absorb moisture, wash easily and tolerate machine washing on delicate cycles.

Care differences
